The BELAC Mission is to bring more awareness and to find a cure that does not involve chemotherapy or any other type of medicine that can later harm a child in any way, known as late effects. We are a non-profit organization committed to providing for children who are battling T-Cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma Cancer (however, not limited to)! Our Goal is to help patients and their families cope with their life threatening illness with love, education and financial support.
Children with cancer are like candles in the wind who accept the possibility that they are in danger of being extinguished by a gust of wind from nowhere and yet, as they flicker and dance to remain alive, their brilliance changes the darkness and dazzles those of us who watch their light – Author Unknown
Our decision to start a non-profit organization is an extension of our heartfelt commitment to this most important cause. Each of us have been influenced by different events and circumstances in our lives and we strive to bring awareness to even the toughest battles. A non-profit organization allows us to spread awareness while supporting, uplifting, and encouraging families.
We raise money to bring about change.
Like a textbook, the same methods are taught and the same results are given. As a result, a child’s life is lost or they must continue to take medicine for the rest of their life.
We are different because we, as a family, have personally experienced a child with T-cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma Cancer. We had to watch as doctors and specialists tried to find different ways, medicine and surgery procedures to fight this horrible, life-threatening disease.
TLC’s Mothers of Childhood Cancer Angels
We are proud to announce that the BELAC Foundation also has a support group. TLC’s Mothers of Childhood Cancer Angels. We are striving to help others in need to get through the process of this illness that is affecting so many lives in so many ways. We meet monthly for parents/caregivers of those children who have passed away.
